What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is the format iPhones use to save photos. It keeps files small, but many Windows apps, websites and forms can’t open it. JPG works everywhere.
Will converting lose quality?
At the default quality the difference is invisible. The JPG is usually a little larger than the HEIC.
Can I stop my iPhone saving HEIC?
Yes: Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible. New photos will then be saved as JPG.
Are my files uploaded?
