How strong is the protection?
We use AES-256, the strongest standard PDF encryption. A long password of 12 or more characters is very hard to break.
What if I forget the password?
The file can’t be opened, and we can’t recover it because we never see it. Keep the password somewhere safe.
Will the PDF open in other apps?
Yes. AES-256 works in all current PDF readers, including Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, Edge and phone apps.
