Why are images I save from websites WebP?
Websites use WebP because it loads faster. Some apps, older software and forms don’t accept it, and converting to JPG fixes that.
What happens to transparent parts?
JPG has no transparency, so they become white. To keep transparency, use WebP to PNG.
Does it work with animated WebP?
Only the first frame is converted.
